Advanced Diploma in Osteopathy (ADO), Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Studies (Osteopathy), MSc in Professional Studies (Osteopathy)
Programme Information
The above programmes have recently been validated by Middlesex University, and are expected to be delivered at the Middlesex University Health Campus in Archway, London and at the College's Post-graduate Centre in Borehamwood. The first intake of students on the Advanced Diploma in Osteopathy will be in September 2008 and for the Post graduate Certificate in Clinical Studies and the MSc in Professional Studies, September 2009.
The ADO is an attractive option for those seeking to validate their CPD activities with a formal higher education qualification, or those interested in revisiting their study skills in preparation for a first degree conversion course, or a Masters course.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Studies (Osteopathy) is designed to be of particular interest to those engaged in clinical teaching.
The MSc in Professional Studies (Osteopathy) is aimed at those wanting to enhance their practise and those wanting to act as leaders in the profession.
Entry Requirements
Students must be registered osteopaths in their country of practice.
Registered Osteopaths, with first degree awards of 2:1 and above will be eligible to apply for the MSc in Professional Studies (Osteopathy).
Applicants without a 2:1 may be required to complete bridging module(s). For example, registered osteopaths educated to diploma level and without a relevant degree can enter on to the MSc on successful completion of the ADO. Consideration will also be given to those who can demonstrate a background in academic or clinical teaching.
