Programme Structure
The course consists of six days of taught sessions that take place over three weekends, prior to new student intakes in September and January. For the September intake the programme usually takes place at the beginning of August, and for January students, at the end of November.
Course aims to provide you with:
- An introduction to the skills required to study at higher education levels and within a higher education environment.
- A broad understanding of the structure (anatomy) and functioning (physiology) of the human body so that you are able to cope with the in depth study of these subjects on the BSc course.
- An appropriate understanding of the underpinning physical, chemical and biological sciences.
- The opportunity to explore relevant scientific ideas.
